I would like some info on the Mercers of Lanarkshire please.
I have Susan Wilson Pate married to John Mercer who was born 1887 in Dalserf Lanark, and Johns parents William Mercer b1856 in Old Monkland Lanark, and Annie Robertson. I would like to find William parents but the only ones I keep coming up with are from Ireland and I don't think that is right. Can anybody help me please any info would be gratefully received. Thank you.
