I am looking for any new information about my ancestor's from regions around the Glasgow area.
Old Monkland, Dalziel, Carstairs, Cambuslaing, Renfrewshire, are but a few.
Ihave a John McLintock 1842 who I am sure was born in Ireland and was a canal boatman.
He married a Christina Gordon 1848 Glasgow. I think Christinas father was a Mariner but I would like more info on him.They had children.. Christina 1875, Margarret 1872, Andrew 1878 and James 1880.I think all born around Glagow.
Also any info about Bences and Pettigrews from the same areas would be appreciated.
