I am researching the Taits in the Crossmichael area of Kirkcudbright. I cannot find a death record of David Tait who was born in 1865. He was married to Mary Ann McLaughlan in 1891 and was a stone mason. He is on the 1901 census but by 1911 Mary is widowed. I have searched Scotlands people site for his death and although there are quite a few they are not him.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
