Can someone please explain to me..........
I am trying to find a Birth record for John R. Urquhart's daughter, Mary, born Aug. 11, 1824 in Scotland. I have found a record for a Mary Urquhart born/christened Aug. 29, 1823 in Parish Lochalsh. There is no listing for her mother. It just states "John Urquhart/". Does this mean that her mother may have died upon giving birth? And.....can someone please tell me where Lochalsh is located? Is it in Inverness?
