My gggrandfather Ewen called himself Ewen McDonald alias MacIsaac.He was born in the Glengarry area of Kilmonivaig around 1780. His parents were Alexander and Mary nee McMillan
I'm told via Elizabeth who has helped so many of us that they were septs of the McDonells
