HI ISABEL:
I just read with much interest your reply to a query on above named 'subject-volume'.I wonder if I may impose on you to look up for me a 'Minister' of "Ch of Scot." in
"Forteviot-Perthshire" his name may be "Thomson" as he was a 'relative' of my grandfather,"John Thomson",,,
This 'minister' lived on the 'Broom Rd' in 'Dunning'PerthSh.
during early 1900's to 1930-40.My "Thomson-gr/parents' my
Mother and all her siblings spent all their 'summers' and
later years in 'Dunning' I have many pictures of people I have no idea who they are,my Mother was born in 1904,and her Mother died in the house in "Dunning" 1920,,,
If you can supply me with names of minister's of this time Isabel I may recognise 'one'. Our family spent the war years
1939-1946 in Dunning, Rev.James McKinnon was minister at St Serf's then, but we never visited the 'Forteviot-Church' as
I believe the 'relative' was no longer there,,!!
Any help will be gratefully appreciated,,thank you.
Kind regards;
Janey Thomson Giffen;
