I found this interesting, as in our records, my g-g-grandfather
James Kilgour, was a groom/servant to James Skirving of Luffness Mains/ farmhouse. This was in the 1861 census.
He had moved on by 1865. I would be interested if anyone
has records for the farm at that time.
