desperate to find info on my ancestors John Cross and Ann Frances McFarlane. There last 4 children were born in Old Kilpatrick (1828-1832) but the oldest 4 can not be found. No marriage record can be found either. Their oldest son James was married in Old Kilpatrick in 1835 to Jean Nicol soon after the family moved to the states. Anyone have any idea where I can look next? I have not been able to locate anything on Scotland's people. Even a walk through Old Kilpatrick cemetery did not help. This is my last hope.
