I am in search of a marriage record dating back to 1810-1815 in the Penpont or Morton area. I have searched through some films at the LDS center but the records from back then do not seem to exist. Any ideas-found a birth record that shows there was a marriage since the child is "lawful". Do you know if there are records of marriage going back that far or where I might find them. Thanks for any help
