Hi, I am researching the family James Scott and Jean Ogilvie of Brieryshaw, Ewes Parish, Dumfriesshire. I have birth records for the following children at the above address
Jennet Scott (1777), Jean (1779), Mary (1785) Thomas (1787)
Robert (1789), Unknown female (1791) James (1793).

My main research is my GGGrandfather, Robert Ogilvie Scott born to a James Scott and Jean Ogilvie and the above family is the only one I can find in all the Scottish records. But my GGGrandfather stated he was born in 1799 (10 years later)than their Robert. If anyone can help with this family I might be able to prove one way or the other that this is MY Ogilvie/Scott family.
