JOHNSTONE/RAE/RADCLIFFE/DALRYMPLE -- DUMFRIES

John JOHNSTONE was b. 11 Jan 1792, Cummertrees Parish, Dumfries. His parents were George JOHNSTONE and Mary RAE. John married (1) Margaret RADCLIFFE (daughter of Anthony RADCLIFFE and Elizabeth DALRYMPLE) , b. 14 Oct 1791, Dumfries. Their children, b. in Dumfries, were: Margaret, b. 6 Mar 1810, Mary, James and John. John moved this family to Quebec sometime before 1820. He married (2) Martha GOUDIE, b. 1797/1801, Chatham, Quebec About 1820. Their first child was Alexander (my wife's g-grandfather), b. 29 Jan 1821, Chatham, Quebec. Alexander married Isabella BEATON (daughter of William BEATON and Agnes ADAM) 10 Aug 1853, Lachine, Quebec. Alexander d. 10 Aug 1910 at L'Orignal, Prescott Co., ON; Isabella d. 10 Aug 1910 at L'Orignal. John d. 15 Dec. 1859, E. Hawkesbury, Twp., Prescott Co.; Martha d. 26 Nov 1890, E. Hawkesbury Twp.

I have not located a marriage record for George JOHNSTONE and Mary RAE and am still trying to identify their parents. I would like to hear from anyone that might be related to or have information about this family line in Scotland.
