My mother was Mary Thomson Makin Reid, born in Alva Clackmannanshire, Scotland on the 6th June, 1904. Her mothers name was the same I.E. Mary Thomson Makin Reid. I believe they resided at 38 East Stirling St. Alva until mum left for Sydney, Australia in 1922. My Grandmothers parents were Mary Makin and Arthur Reid.
Any information as to my Grandfathers identity and history would be greatly appreciated.
