Many, many thanks Meg, he belongs to my family - I recognised his parent's names. I'm following the line of his uncle John
CRUM, stationer & penny library owner of
Glasgow which takes both Robert's and my line back to Robert's grandfather John
CRUM nailer who moved to Dalnotter circa 1760's with wife Lillias Glen after (probably) losing several children in
Glasgow.
If anyone thinks they have a link with this
