If anyone is researching the Henderson Surname from Kilbirnie I would appreciate your input. I have info from the mid 1800's to 1920's but I can't connect the dots.

Karen, can I ask where your Moffats are. Researching family of John Moffat married Margaret Bone 1821 Kirkpatrick Juxta, then moved to New Cumnock - Dalmellington. Have lots of descendants. Anything seem familiar?

I don't have alot on the Moffat family other than James Henderson married Janet Moffat Dec 29, 1865 @ Beith, she died 1918 at age 67 in Kilbirnie. First three children are Elizabeth Knox Henderson, b 30/09/67 Kilbirnie John b 04/11/69, Janet 20/01/72. Quite awhile ago someone wrote me about the Knox connection but it didn't connect to Janet Moffat.
Their son, James born 1880 married my gr aunt in Dalry 1906 and he lists his address as 5 Avila Place, Kilbirnie which I confirmed as being the address of James & Janet.
Thats all I have on the Moffat/Henderson connection.

Thanks Karen - I don't have any Janets recorded and no-one in Beith, so probably not the same family. Always worth a try though!
