Since I posted that message, I have found that our Alexander Thomson most likely did not come from Kilmarnock, although we haven't found him in Wigtownshire either. However I have collected quite a few Thomson events from Kilmarnock. I went through the registers on film from 1771-1800 approx. and have made photo copies. If you have any persons who were born or married in this time frame, let me know and I'll check my files. Regards, Patti
