Then for John THOMSON (grocer/skinner) & Ann BOYD the following children- John b. Dec. 28, 1777, not sure how this happened, John1778 Jan. 1778, James, b. Dec. 23, 1779; Peter, b. Mar. 24, 1782; Agnes b. May, 1784; William, b. 1791; Adam, b. 1793: John THOMSON shoemaker & Margaret MCLAREN, Lilias, b. 1790; Elizabeth, b. 1792: John THOMSON glover and breeches maker & Janet BOYD, 7th. child, Grace b. May 1771; Jean b. Aug. 29, 1774: John THOMSON, wool comber & Isabel Gemmil, Janet b. Oct. 2, 1790; Robert, b. May 19, 1792; John b. 1796: John THOMSON, shoemaker, & Jean JOHNSTON, Agnes, b. July 28, 1785, 3rd. child, James b. April 11, 1789, John, b. May 8, 1791: John THOMSON, shoemaker, & Janet TEMPLETON, Hugh, b. Mar. 28, 1791; James, b. July 6, 1793: John THOMSON, shoemaker & Margaret SHEDDEN, Janet, b. Dec. 27, 1790; David, b. July 1, 1802, 6th. child, Maxwell, b. 1804: John THOMSON bonnet maker & Mary BROWN, David, b. Mar. 22, 1770: John THOMSON, shoemaker, & Janet FERGUSON, James, b. June 2, 1789, John, b. Aug. 22, 1791. I believe that is all the John THOMSON I have.
