I am searching for information on my Great Grandfather Maternal). His name was John Calderwood. The only information I have is that he was born in Kilmarnock. He joined the Black Watch at Ayr in 1854, aged 18 years 3 months.(may be false). His father is listed as Alexander Calderwood, and mother Mary McMillan.
