I'm afraid I don't have any information for you about your exact persons, but some coincidental information that may or may not lead any where.

My nana was Thomasina CHRISTIE (born 1909 Ayr), named after Thomasina Rae (b.1877, mar. Glasgow, 1897), the daughter of John Rae and Jane SMILLIE.

What a coincidence, could be related, I don't have any more information on this side of my family, but I do on the Smillie's. I could send that on to you, if you want, see if its familiar.
