Can't find this family at all in Ayrshire in 1851 or 1861.

William Simpson b.1839 was my grandfather. His marriage certificate 1865 says Hurlford Parish of Riccarton, Ayr as his
usual residence.

He always said he lived in Glasgow,born in Paisley, but I thought that was early on in his life.
