Hi Bonnie

I am a fellow Howat reseacher.
I noticed you not only were interested in the names Howat but Bicket as well.

I have done some research into the Fenwick Howat's.

I have found another Bicket and Howat connection in Kilmarnock a bit later than the Fenwick connection.

Regards Angela C

I have a photograph taken in 1930 of Alexander and Lillias Mair, along with their children and grandchildren when they came to America for a vacation. I tried to send a scan of the photograph to you through this website but it was larger then the limit on size. If you can can e-mail me directly, I can send you the photo which has all of the people identified by name. All of the brothers are in the picture, however the sisters (Mariam and Helen) did not come on the trip and are not in the photograph. My father is still alive who is a grandson of Alexander and Lillias. My grandfather was born in 1889, the only younger brothers that had children were Jim and Hugh however I don't have their birthdates--but I can find them out. Hugh was the youngest I think born around 1902. You must be looking for Jim who had one child named Lillias who lives in California
