I am looking for information on Andrew Lockhart(5/10/1843
-3/18/1920) he was born Ayrshire, Scotland the son of
Andrew Lockhart I have no information on the Father. I
did find a Andrew Lockhart 7 Kirkcolm, Wigtownshire Ayr
Ballantrae on a Listing of Ayrshire 1851. My mother was
Mable Lockhart Turvey and Andrew Lockhart the son was
her Father, he came to Taylorville, Il. USA when he was
a young man and was one of the first miners in this town.
he died in 1920 from a stroke and was buried in Oak Hill
Cemetery in Taylorville, I would be interested if he had
brothers. A distant relative said he talked about a Sister
who he called Lady Jane also did he have other sisters.
What was his mother's name? Can anyone help me?
