Alexander Mitchell ? who signed his father's death entry in 1891 but I can find no dates for him.

James Mitchell died 30th October 1891, St.Rollox
*Agnes Parker died 6th March 1884, Glasgow

Note: There may be some children missing from the Parker/Mitchell marriage - there is a big gap from 1854 - 1862 but this gap is also evident in the 1881 census when they lived at 56 Caledonia Road, Govan, Lanark with 6 of the children ranging in age from Robert,13 to William, 33. (but still no Alexander!) Maybe they went through a lean period or one of them was ill? Agnes died of scirrhus of the uterus (cancer). They certainly seem to have moved about a fair bit.

Grace Jane Mitchell (my great grandmother) married George Kirk Goalen, 8th November 1894, St Vincent Street Glasgow.
