I have a 1849 family bible that I came across in an auction in the UK that rightfully belongs with the Dalrymple Hay or, perhaps, Fordyce family. I am presently doing research on it and will give it to someone who can show me the connection they have to the original owner of the bible. There are two newspaper obituaries in the bible regarding General Charles Frances Fordyce. I am very much interested in my own family history so I am aware that this may mean a great deal to someone. I would very much like to return it to the family.
