Can anyone help me with a place name, I found on the lds site for Ann Borland born abt 1750 the place is "North Callrenland, Ayr". I have never heard of it before, has anyone come across the name anywhere. Thanks.

Hi Barbara,
I can't help with the place name of Ann Borland's birth place in Ayrshire, it doesn't come up on any searches that I have done, but I was able to find 11 children born to Ann Borland and Andrew Cowan on Film # 457273 which shows her marriage to Andrew Cowan in 1781, Sorn Ayr.
If you didn't have all these kids , I hope this will help in some way.
