Hi, I'm new to this site although I have been researching my McDonald and Currie relations on the Argyllshire (Mull) site. My great grandfather married Margaret Ingram (born 27 Feb 1834) and they emigrated to New Zealand in 1863 after their marriage at Craigie. Margaret's parents were James Ingram and Jean Stirling. She had a brother Robert and a sister Barbara. Does anyone out there know anything about the family? Regards and cheers from NZ, Helen Danes

I have more information for you on the Ingram family. Your James Ingram was the brother of my husband's 3 x Great Grandfather Hugh Ingram. James and Hugh's parents were Robert Ingram and Jean McMillan from Tarbolton, Ayrshire.
