Yes, also interested in Hunters and have been unable to break down any walls on them. The one we do have is James
Hunter, born 1810, in Scotland. He was married to Maria Wilson in Ayr in 1841. Banns were proclaimed in both Ayr and Irvine. James and Maria immigrated to Canada approx. 1849. Where he was from is still a mystery! Some old notes say one of his sisters married a Warnock and another sister had a son, James B. Hunter, born Oct. 15, 1843 who also immigrated to Canada in 1873.
Other than that, they remain elusive!
