Pls contact me when you get this! My gr-grandfather was William McGreechan, b. abt 1862 in either
Scotland
or Ireland. I posted a while ago about William and his mother Mary Miles/Myles and one of his sisters who married a
Woodhead
. William emigrated to the US abt 1890 where the name somehow became McGreehan.

As you can see my name is McGreechin. I live in
Glasgow
and you'll probably find that anyone with this spelling of the surname are related. It would be interesting if there was a connection with the surnames.
