Hi
I have struck a brick wall on the marriage of Joseph Timmins to Margaret Milligan. I have found the birth details of 2 of their daughters - Marion and Elizabeth - but have been told that they had 3 other daughters - Maggie, Maryann and Jeannie. The 2 girls I have found were born in Lanarkshire and Ayrshire in 1868 and 1870 and I believe Maggie was born in Kilmarnock in 1874. But I cannot find the family listed on the 1881 census in any part of the UK. Also I can't find any listing of the marriage of the parents, I have checked IGI several times, including Ireland. I don't know anything about Joseph and Margaret before the births of the girls. Has anyone any suggestions or does anyone know this family???

Hi,

Do you have a date of birth for Margaret Milligan ?

I have a two Margarets in my tree - Lanarkshire, but not Ayrshire.
The two I have would have been registered in Dumbartonshire at that time - but now it would be under lanarkshire.
Margaret Milligan born approx 1849
Margaret Milligan born approx 1890
