I thought I would get in on the act with this MCHOUL saga and mention mine.

Elizabeth MCHOUL 1799 - 1874 married William DAVIDSON 1800 - 1869 in 1827 in Dailly. My interest is in their daughter Elizabeth DAVIDSON who married James LAMBIE in 1859 in Girvan.

Regards,

Paul LAMBIE

hello, it's good to have somebody joining the saga!
Elizabeth Crawford McHoull on my db was born 21 aug 1798 in Dundonald and married Hugh Gray(born in Maybole) in 1823 in Kirkoswald. These are IGI extracted entries. Any chance it could be the same Elizabeth as yours?
I don't have a Davidson born that late in my db I'm afraid.

I see you have Rowen in your family. My grandmother was Jessie Clark Rowan b 1876 in Barr. Mother mirron Seaton and father Hugh Rowan. Jessie married George Kerr in Ayr, we are all from Ayr, December 1901.

Let me know if we may be connected.

Sincerely

Rowen, Vancouver BCKerr Rowan

My Elizabeth married William Davidson in 1827 in Dailly. I suspect a different Elizabeth.

Hi Paul,

Do you need any info on my Rowan sie. How exciting it is to find someone else who is who is related to the Rowans. I came to a halt when I tracked down Mirron Seaton who was Jessie Rowan's ,other. I think they were gypsies and had a large family. Apparently Mirron would not stay in a house.

Although Jessie was my grandmother, her family is somewhat sketchy. I know Hugh's father was a shepherd and he was the 5th son of Margaret Douglas and Hugh(?) Rowan. I would love to hear what you have. My name is Rowena, I was named after the Rowans but my mother being English named me Rowena and it was shortened to Rowen..

Cheers,

Rowen Bibo nee Kerr

Hi Elizabeth,

Going through some of my old e-mails and came across yours. Jessie Rowan was my Grandmother. Do you have any information on our Rowans. I also have some information and will pass it on to you if you would like.

Greetings,

Rowen Bibo
