Sir,
You are a man of keen memory!!
Edward McEachnie married Catherine McLachlan at Hill Farm in Airdrie in 1897....they had 4 boys, Donald,Edward,John,Sutherland and 4 girls Margaret,Isabella,Nan and Jean.
The children you speak of are Jeans..she married a William McDonald.....Katherine still lives at the St Ninians Road homestead...she married a Ford Scott who apparently departed this life fairly young
I've got documentation on the marriage of Edward McEachnies father, Edward McEachnie, to Isabella McGregor, daughter of John and Catherine McKichan McGregor, at Easdale in October 1858...I've got my grandmothers line back to John McCalman and Margaret Campbell ABT 1820
If there's anything more you need, just say the word!!
I've hit a Front, Sides AND back wall with my Gemmell line in Ayr,Refrew,Lanark so if you know of any Gemmells or Thomsons who may "have a clue"..please let them know of my "cry in the night"!!
Take care,Cousin!!
Peter
