Great attention-getting opening line!
My gggf Peter Thomson of Alloa, Clackmannan,Scotland married Mary White Fraser Adamson, also of Alloa, in 1872. Peter's parents were Peter Thomson and Marion Watson, and Mary's parents were John Adamson and Mary Fraser, also of Alloa and John's parents were David Adamson and Mary White . Peter and Mary were married in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, Scotland but came to NZ soon after that.
The first of their seven children was born in Dunedin and the rest in Timaru, South Canterbury. My grandmother Ann Fraser Thomson was born in 1888 and died in Auckland in 1959. My grandfather's name was Sidney Arthur Hoare.
I'd love to hear from anyone connected with these families.
