Classification: Query
Surnames: MCCULLOCH, MCCALLAUM, BURT, GRAY
Hi all,
I am wondering if there was a census (I'm a very new genie), around 1840 in AYR.
My surnames are as above but with of course various spellings. MCCULLOCH/K and MCCALLOM ect.
They were married in Dreghorn in AYR in 1835 and had listed as a relative a John MCCCULLOCK.
Maybe they could be found in a Census? Janet, William, Andrew, Charles, John, Agnes, Thomas are common in our family but I also think, common throughout Scotland.
Thanks for any ideas.
