Hi Marjorie, I can trace my Kerr line back to William Kerr (b. 1801) married to Mary Craig (b. 1801) who came to Canada in 1827. They were from Kilbirnie and Dalry, Ayr, Scotland and settled in English River, now Riverfield, Quebec south of Montreal. I was born and raised in this area and I have a fairly good record of the family from that time on down. The Kerr-Reid connection was through Albert Kerr who married Jeanie Reid, who were my grandparents. Drop me a line direct at donaldk33@hotmail.com or donald.kerr@3web.net if you feel that we could have something. I am presently working on the Reid families, those that settled in Ormstown, Quebec and those who settled in Renfrew area in Ontario.
Best regards, Donald
