James FULTON was married to Lilias CRAIG (daughter of Andrew CRAIG) on April 30, 1805 in Eaglesham, RFW. "Lilias CRAIG was born in Eaglesham, RFW, after 1750 and lived to great age. Said to have married after she was seventy years of age she is said by some to have lived to be eighty, while others put the limit of her existence at one hundred and four years." This information from research done by a family member over 100 years ago. There may be a remote connection to your FULTON.

Hello
I am trying to prove my line. I know that Peter FULTON 1828 son of James FULTON and Jane HAMILTON lived in Ardrossan, Stevenson, Saltcoats area and moved to Glasgow but I think Peter may have gone to America. Peter's elder daughters Eliza and Jane came to Maryborough QLD. I am awaiting 1861 census details to find James birthplace, perhaps Beith. Earlier names HARVEY, KERR, POLLOCK, SNODGRASS and KERR.
Some I have proved, others no.
I would like to correspond with those with an interest.

Hi
With the exception of FULTON, research is further back in time that I am endeavouring to prove. Keep in touch if you get further back. I am trying to work forward.
