Searching for descendants of Thomas Wallace Blaikey Hood who lived in Ayr on Alderson Avenue and died middle 1940's. He was a dentist. Married Elizabeth McCardle and children were William who was in the Black Watch, sons Ronald, Thomas and daughters Carrie, Rita and Avril.

Son Thomas was born around 1914 and died at age 45. Married Margaret Hunter Rob and children were Elizabeth, Avril, Christine and son Thomas.

Looking for McCardles in Ayr 1815 to 1845. Possibly came from Ireland. Any information sought.
