Can anyone through any light on David Arthur and wife Grace Arthur her maiden surname could be Farish.Have traced a David and Grace Arthur in the 1851 census they slept along with the children at the pit head in Dalmellington the night of the 1851 census, looking to get her maiden name verified . i don't have a connection. I've hit a brick wall with my tree and sometimes i find it helps to look at someone else's family for a few days and look at mine again and see new angles etc
