Doing some Geneology as a hobby and have managed to trace McLeans back to Troon & Irvine. They come from my Mothers Fathers side of the family.

Margaret McLean (b)1849? in Irvine
(m) 1885 John Swan (b)1856 in Cannongate Edinburgh.

She had siblings Jane (b)1852, Robert (b)1854, Lucy (b)1857 & James (b)1859. Parents were James McLean (b)1882 Ireland and Margaret Sutherland (b)1821 Irvine.
