Do you have an AGNES FREW in your line who married a ROBERT WILSON in the late 1700's? They had a daughter MARGARET born around 1782 possibly in Kilwinning

Surnames: Frew & Douglas
My mother is Agnes Frew whose parents were George Douglas and Agnes Frew - all from the Ayrshire region. As yet I haven't done a lot of research on my mother's side but will be happy to offer you any information once I obtain it.

Douglas

On the 1881 census for Tarbolton, there is an Agnes Frew (age given as 9) born St.Quivox, with a Gibson family and listed as "lodger". Is this your Agnes and do you know of any relationship with the Gibsons - Henry and Isabella (nee Tait)? She seems a little young to be a lodger.
