I would write you directly, however, your Rootsweb/Ancestry profile lists you as "anonymous" when the name of the author is clicked through. Should you want your email address exposed, but still encrypted so spambots cannot read it, you can update your profile to change it from the default of anonymous. It will make it so that researchers can contact you off board without paying any fees to anyone.

I thank you for taking time to transcribe the document. I realize you may not have any further information as this is a transcription. However, the name Boyd has caught my eye as associated with a location I had not heard of previously.

Do you have information re the second Boyd mentioned as a signator of the document? "F. Boyd of Poucorsse" I have not seen this reference before. My mind wants to read "Poucorsse" as "Portincross."

Also, it would appear that you have quoted from a book. If so, would you mind sending details re the book, ISSN, etc to me off the board (via email)?
