My grandmother was Margaret McCraine, b. Sept. 29, 1858, Jura, she was the daughter of Alexander McCraine b. 1811. Alexander's parents were Archibald McCraine, b. abt. 1785 and Isabella McIsaac. I do not have a Murdoch listed as one of Archibald's children but do you think there might be a connection? Have not been able to find any McCraine's associated with this family as yet. The spelling of the name is not the same, but I have seen it spelled several different ways.
