Can you provide the names of John and Janet's children and which Canadian province they moved to?

I'm looking for information on Colin MacEachern of Wood Island Rd., Prince Edward Island. He was born about 1783.

Thanks,
Lori Malczyk
Vashon Island, WA

I have learned that my g-g-grandmother Sarah Ann Coulson Verey married her second husband John McEachern in Leduc, Canada. She had been the wife of Dr. George Verey and had been living in Edmonton, Canada. She was in Edmonton in 1891 as Vearey and living in Leduc as Sara McEachern in 1901. Could this John be related to yours? Unfortunately I have no more info on him but perhaps he had a son named Malcom. thank you.

Perhaps my Canadian roots will be of some use to you. I gather my ancestor Duncan MacEachern crossed the Atlantic durig the Clearances. He married Marion MacDonald and they are buried in the Lochaber Bay Cemetry near Ottawa. There is a story that he is one of three men born in Argyllshire that married three MacDonald sisterand emigrated to Canada together.

I am looking for information on a Mary MacEachern who might have left Cape Breton for Ontario around 1920 to 1925. Apparantly she married but I do not know her married name.
This is my first request so I don't have any information whatsoever....I am hoping to find someone who knows her. Could you please reply. Thankyou so much.

Hi Ken, my name is Claire and I live in Stirling in Scotland and I am researching my great great great grandfather Duncan MacEachen who travelled from Gourock in Scotland to Lochaber Bay in the early 1800. My grandfather was Keith MacRachern and he was born in Lochaber Bay, Ontario. I think you may be one of my remote cousins. Duncan had a son John, who had a son Duncan again, who had a son Norman who I think if Im right is your father?? If you have any information regarding old duncan I would be grateful and maybe I could send you some information I have collected. Thanks, Claire

I am trying to research this line as well. I found an 1880 census in Vermilion, Illinois where Alexander (age 22) was a farm laborer living with a Copeland family as was Laura Courtney (age 13). Must have been where they met. I have a little information about his line and very little on hers. Anything you may have would be helpful. Thanks

Hi, firstly have you found anything further to your search?

We are descendants of the Matthews Family from Utah and Alexander Black McEchearn is my Great-Great-Great Grandfather on my mothers side. I have some history after his birth but not anything from his Scottish Ancestry as apparently he came to Canada and left Scotland severing all ties with his family. It's cloudy passed down stories, but it's all we could find.
