Well, I have been looking for the following:

a) Christina MacLeod, who was married to a William McBain, gave birth to Elizabeth McBain in 1830 in Arbroath. a Mrs. Balbirnie and an Elizabeth Balbirnie are listed as witnesses.
I cannot locate Elizabeth afterwards.
I cannot locate the dad, William McBain, either. For that matter, I have no birth or marriage OPR for him or his wife Christina.
I cannot locate the mom, Christina, until I find her death in Aberdeen in 1874!
I also cannot locate the witnesses, the Balbirnies.

What a peculiar bunch!

I phoned the Angus archives to see if they could do a cemetery search, but no reply yet.

Anyone with any ideas about the above people of Arbroath please let me know!
