I am looking for any information about the family of Alfred Alexander HACKETT. He was born on or about 18 May 1819 in Montrose Scotland. I have documents stating:

"Capt. Alfred A. Hackett was born in Montrose, Scotland, where he served his apprenticeship as a ship-builder and carpenter. He afterwards went to sea where he became first mate on a bark trading with Australia and New Zealand. Following his calling for years he was a length wrecked on the Atlantic coast and was rescued on the coast of New Brunswick near Saint John Canada."

I am looking for any information on where he may have apprenticed, or who he sailed for, to who his parents might have been, or if he had any siblings.
