I'll try again...anyone having information on this line (James Gibson & his wife Margaret Butchart immigrated to Canada in 1883 from Carnoustie...we are trying to tie in the Brown link to Leitch/Butchart/Gibson...seems a James Brown may have married (this would be perhaps mid 1800's or so)a Catherine Lieitch prior to her later married to Butchart (not sure)...thanks for any information that may be forthcoming..I have given our family URL for the site that may prove interesting to anyone researching these names
