i am looking for info on George Ledingham b 1869 Edinburgh. His father James was born c 1838 in Aberdeen. James was a confectioner and in 1881 he was living in 6 Duncan Street Edinburgh. George married Mary Robertson in Edinburgh in 1886.Mary was b 27 Jul 1860 in St Clements Aberdeen daughter of George Robertson and Mary Dickie. George Ledingham and Mary had a son George in 1886 in Edinburgh but they left him with her mother who by that time was living in Nairn. After that they just disappeared. On their marriage certificate George's occupation was given as an engineer. I think they may have gone to England but I am having trouble finding them. I did find a couple in Leverpool who might be them. Can anyone help?
