Thank you for your input. My error, it should have read Blessington, Co.Wicklow. I am looking for Michael Manders who married Sarah Gee, in Mountmellick, Co.Laois in October 1863. I am researching the Manders of Kildare & Laois. Cannot find a birth cert for Michael born 1838. I have the RCB Manders records for Athy. The records for the Parish of Lea are held by the local vicar and not the RCB. I know that Michael jnr. and his wife move to Scotland and then England. I just need to find his place of birth and parents.The Manders from Blessington just about fit the time scale, i.e. they married March 1837 and the Michael Manders I am looking for was born 1838. They are both C of I and Wicklow is next door to Kildare.
