My great grandmother was born in Wicklow somewhere between 1845-1848, her name was Mary Lawler, she came over to England, but I don't know when this was, or if she came with her family or alone. Here she married my great grandfather, in 187, and lived her life out in Lancashire. I know from her marriage certificate that her father was James Lawler. I know she was a Roman Catholic from the cemetry records. How can I trace her birth, or any other information about her family. I will be comming over to Wicklow in June for a holiday, and would love to find out a bit more, so that I can get the feel of where they lived.
