Australian Death Certificates of Margaret (Murphy) and Daniel Kavanagh state that they were married at Glendalough Catholic Church about 1834.
I have read info on the net about the building of St Kevin's Church, Glendalough, which was built around 1850. The info states that prior to the building of this church, "the numerous Catholic population of the district have to travel some miles to receive the consolation of religion".
Where might Daniel and Margaret have been married? Laragh perhaps? Or did the priest do home visits? Did Glendalough exist as a village in 1834? What is the distinction between Glendalough and Seven Churches?
