I'm looking for a connection between the Mulcahys and Sheehans dating back to 1780. I know of a David Mulcahy who was from Waterford, and was a bachelor. He had a brother who married, her name is unknown, and they had three children, two of which were named John and Jim. There was a third brother who was born in 1782 and married a Sheehan, and they had 5 children. One of the known children's name was John Sheehan who was born in 1810 and married Ellen Power. One of the sheehan children (male) went with the 3 mulcahy kids (their cousins) to Newfoundland. One of the Mulcahys and the Sheehan stayed there. There are Sheehans still in Newfoundland. John and Jim Mulcahy returned to Ireland.
