Looking for Irwins who went to Canada about five or six generations ago. From Dunghannon.

re; IRWIN'S to Canada,My gg grandfather Robert IRWIN b 1823 in Ireland married Elizabeth CRAIG b.1826.I'm told they came from Cty. Antrim. Their first son Thomas was born on the ship coming to Canada in Dec, 1843. They lived in Prince Edward Cty., Ontario from 1851 to 1900.Trying to find for sure where they came from in N. Ireland.

I am trying to locate and information on the Thomas Irwin family.
Thomas Irwin married JaneWeir, around 1866 or 1865, These are my great grandparents.
My grnadfather William was born in July 1867 in Tandragee County Armah NI. William married Julia McFadden the youngest child of James and Isabella [McGowan.] Irwin.
Anyone having any information on these familys I would greatley appreciate.
To Thomas & Jane [Weir] Irwin were the following children

Hi folks; Just an update on my query. It's possible that my gg Elizabeth Irwin's maiden name was also Irwin or Irvin etc. and not Craig. I believe she had Craig connections.
Their first son Thomas m. Lucinda LaRue in 1866 and then Annie Jane Kiser in 1882. Hoping to hear from some kin soon. Thanks Linda Baker

Dear IRWIN family.. I have 1867 journals belonging to REV. Eben Muir RICE, a minister at Bothwell Baptist church. I have compiled his diaries from 1861 when he was a student minister at The Woodstock Literary institute, 1861 till he became he married Mary Bland of Embro, 1865, and moved to Bothwell, Nov. 1867. He mentions all the families at that time living in Bothwell.
I am compiling these journal to go to the Baptist History Department at McMaster University, and will specifically look for any Irwin family notation. He mentions IRWINS,
This 1867 VOL. 3. It soon be sent to McMaster, Rev. Rice lived there 3 years. He ministered in Newbury, Euphemia, Florence and Zone. kept daily journal & copious note and every letter with whom he had correspondence.
